Jeff posted this cool lineart, and offered it up for a coloring contest. Thought I would hit it up as well.
A number of fantastic versions there already.
Many pushed the supernatural aspect, something I considered heavily as well. Would have make the stones glow.
Ended up going fairly natural however. making the ghosts being part of the environment, not something magical.
